People online may not be who they say they are. Never give out your full name, email or home address, phone number or where you work or go to school. Never meet someone you met online in person unless you are sure and only in a public place, with a parent or another adult present. Tell an adult or member of staff if you come across anything online that is offensive or if you receive messages that are vulgar, insulting or that make you feel uncomfortable.
